Michelle Amaral, Ph.D joins 1st Edge

We’re excited to announce Michelle Amaral, Ph.D. has joined 1st Edge as a Data Scientist, specializing in computer vision and #machinelearning. Having obtained a PhD in neuroscience from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), and in the process of obtaining a Master of Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University, Michelle is interested in applying principles of biological intelligence to computer software to build intelligent machines. Her expertise will greatly contribute to our projects supporting the #DepartmentofDefense.
